What are the rates for a carriage?
Rates are based on the location of your event, the vehicle you would like to use and the amount of time you would like to have.  Most special requests such as, decorations and the driver's attire will be included in any quoted rates.

What are the restrictions on where you can take a horse drawn vehicle?
All of our vehicles are street legal and can go anywhere you would take a motorized vehicle.  They also have proper lighting for safely operating at night.  Some cities require special permits to have a horse drawn vehicle on the city streets.  If your event is located in an area that requires a permit we will take care of it at no additional charge.  We will not operate in an area we feel would be unsafe for our horses or passengers.  If the route you are considering is questionable or unfamiliar to us we will come out prior to booking to ensure it would be safe.

How far in advance do I need to reserve a carriage?
To ensure availability the earlier the better.  We are the busiest during the Spring wedding season and during Christmas.  All of our private events are scheduled with a written contract with the specifics of your event.  Once the signed contract is received, with your deposit, your event will be booked.

What if my event is canceled after I have booked it?
You may cancel your event for any reason up to 14 days prior to the event and receive a full refund.  Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will forfeit the deposit.  If we cancel your event due to weather you will receive a full refund.  We do not operate in weather conditions that would put our horses or passengers at risk including ice, lightening and heavy rain.  We do operate in light rain, drizzle and snow.

What about the excrement the horses leave?
Our horses have specially designed manure catchers that attach to their harness under their tails.  These bags catch the manure and keep it out of sight.  If by chance they do "miss" the bag our staff will clean up after them.  There will never be any manure left at any event the horses attend.

What else should I consider before booking my event?
It takes about 20 minutes to go 1 mile in a horse drawn vehicle.  If you know you want a horse drawn vehicle but are unsure how you can make it work for your event, please give us a call.  We have a number of ways to make your ride enjoyable and maximize your time.

We pride ourselves on making your event memorable by customizing our services to fit your needs.  We have compiled a few general questions but, encourage you to call with your questions.
